As one of the most culturally in-tune places in the world, it is only natural that the Austrian Tourist Office and the Austrian Wine Marketing Board work so closely together!

Today the Austrian Tourist Office sent over their latest travel deals today and this on caught my eye!

Within Vienna is the wine-themed hotel, Hotel Rathaus Wein & Design, hosting the Fleischhaker family’s hospitality concept and vinophile philosophy.

Well what does THAT mean? That means that every step of your stay at this 4-star hotel will feature something wine related from breakfast to bed; wine cheese on the breakfast buffet, the wine guglhupf (pastry) with your coffee, the wine cosmetics in your room – wine is simply everywhere! Not to mention each of the 39 rooms is dedicated to a top Austrian vintner for a truly unique mini bar experience!

The wine lounge features a “Vintner of the Month” and guests are invited to talk over the wines with Director Conrad Schröpel  and his team in an uncomplicated, unpretentious manner that enhances the wine drinking experience.

When you’re not engrossed in everything this hotel has to offer Vienna has a wonderful wine culture (and artistic culture) to experience. Don’t forget to check out Zum Schwarzen Kameel, dine on traditional Austrian fare and take some time to sight-see wonderful attractions such as St. Stephens Cathedral.

The Austrian Tourist Office is currently offering this trip for $1799 that includes round trip airfare (from JFK or IAD), 3-nights hotel and included breakfast. If I haven’t convinced you to go already I’d be shocked (I’ve certainly convinced myself!)
