Labor Day is upon us, but there is still plenty of time left in summer – more than 21 days, in fact – which means there is plenty of time to keep the Riesling flowing.

This year, we’re happy to present you with #WineChat Riesling Round 2 featuring Austrian wine as well as our friends from Germany and Alsace and commentary from special guests, the Summer of Riesling.

While we picked the first Wednesday in summer last year, this time we’re going with the last to end the summer on a good note. September 18th at 9pm EST will be all about the old world’s Riesling’s 2011 vintage. Come explore the impact the varying climates had on the wines that year.

The wines:

Austria: Salomon Undhof – Steiner Kögl Kremstal dac Reserve Riesling 2011
Germany: Selbach Fish Label Riesling Mosel 2011
Alsace: Domaine Ehrhart Riesling Vieilles Vignes 2011
